Increasingly, imported camper trailers are becoming more and more common within the Australian market. With the amount of welding implemented on the Liberty trailers in Australia, locally sourced components, and hours of assembly labour; our Liberty Campers more than qualify to hold the label of 'Australian Made'. However, unlike how most other so called 'Australian Made' campers on the market fail to provide, here are all the facts about ours:
Many competitors go to great length to diguise the fact that the canvas they provide is imported, but we are happy to proclaim that our army-grade high quality canvas is not just a run-of-the-mill substandard imported canvas like most others.
Our canvas is 100% cotton, fully waterproof, breathes in the summer, and is up to any task the harsh Australian climate may throw at it. All doors and windows feature an extra strong, durable fly screen which is Midge proof. The entire canvas is double stitched; ensuring durability.
It is also pleasing to proclaim that all of our trailers are designed by a team of fully qualified engineers and comply to Australian Standards. They are completely certified and each trailer is provided with an engineer's approval certificate, most competitors wont supply this, because a large proportion of trailers on the market are not actually engineer designed or approved!
The running gear of our trailers (axle, springs, tyres etc.) are sourced locally, and the entire body is produced from 345mpa strength 1.8mm thick steel checkerplate. These trailers are FULLY welded, they are not cheap bolt-together cost cutting imports!
Our Quality control at Liberty Campers is stringent, and every single weld is inspected prior to the trailer being fully submerged into a boiling zinc bath (over 400 degrees) which provides the ultimate in rust protection. You can choose to take delivery of your camper in the base zinc finish, or we are happy to apply a
2-pack paint finish of any colour of choice, we can even match your car colour!
